Slowly and Definitely Not Surely

I've written this post three times already and I'm not sure I remember how to do this anymore. This is supposed blogging, the place where one spills thoughts on a blank white page and thereby gets some kind of fulfillment, right?

I think this happens whenever I go through some kind of life change and thereby don't divvy enough of my time out to be social in blogland, and that's a shame, because if you ever click around in this blog's comment section, you find some really quality people. You're reading this? You're quality people.

Absence might make the heart grow fonder1, but that's not how it works on the interwebs. Here in blogland, practice makes the heart grow fonder2.

So, okay, here we go. What's everybody been doing for the past couple of weeks?

  1. Which is totally wrong. It should make the heart grow more fondly.
  2. "Fondlier?"

Trying to figure out my life. You know. The usual :)

Actually, I've been shaking things up a little bit... dropping a couple of things that no longer serve me in favor of those things that do. Let's catch up soon, friend!

I'd have to second Doniree. I have been trying so hard recently to figure out my life and get it at a right state that I can live with.
In addition to that, I've been working my butt off at my new store to prove to them that I deserve some sort of leadership position, and that takes a lot out of me.
Also, I am going to Niagara next week and that should be a good time to let loose and relax at the same time!

Same as doniree. Trying to figure out life.

Yesterday I might have had a mini breakdown at work because I felt overstimulated emotionally and couldn't decipher what message  the "universe" was pounding at me. This morning I woke up and put the universe  on mute.

I think I must start using fondlier in sentences as much as possible. It makes me giggle.

And thank you - you're quality people, too.

Nicoooo! I'm in the same boat, aka haven't blogged for forever and a day.

But you know what? That's the beauty of this place we like to lovingly call the blogosphere - it's always here waiting for you. No pressure. :)

    Hope all is well!

Add me to the list of people figuring out their lives. You know how it goes, you quality person you.

I'm also training to run a 5K. I don't run ever, so it's kind of A Thing. I'm also buying lots of sweaters. It's getting cold out east.

Amen to figuring out my life. And currently, that means trying to bow out of one job and embrace another. Transitions are hard.

That. But with a smile. Also trying to do the same thing: blog.
