Rain in Bits

I know I might say it a lot, and here I am saying again that I am about to have a lot to do. This isn't complaining, it's documenting this event for me to be able to read and remember later.1 For foreshadowing, this entry is being posted after a night of skipped sleep and right around 2 liters of coffee.

What just occurred to me is that and a lot of communication will be necessary to get it done. A lot of my communication takes place on the internet (Hello! See?).

It's about to rain bits, pour in bytes, and possibly hail in kilobytes. My inboxes will be all but flooded.

It's okay that I have a lot of work. I am lucky enough to have a job that I rather like, and I'm looking forward to projects with some opposite-of-boring problem solving. I'm into that. It requires a lot of hard work. I'm into that, too.

I am not afraid of working this much, since I've done it before.

It is encouraging to know that this blog, and the people I've met through being a blogger, are the umbrella.

A lot of my generation has seen enough to realize that art imitates life imitates art. So, if my life is a movie, this is a scene where it starts to rain.

  1. I blog because, let's face it, I forget things, and I rely on computers a lot to remember these things for me.

I can't believe that you linked to the Clapperboard wiki page AND I clicked on it.

Anyway, when I see the storm coming, I always prepare like I won't even have time to think to myself, and then it hits and even though it's rough, it's surprisingly not as consuming as expected, because the important things (like talking to people on the internet! Hello!) I still find time for. But, I will totes be your umbrella anytime.

In addition to a blogger umbrella, I can also be a warm cup of tea if you need some comfort.

I always love the way you blog :) You're lucky you got a job you actually like. More so, that you enjoy the challenges that comes along. Good luck! And cheers! :)
